"Rene with I Love It tours was seriously awesome. I cannot express enough how much I recommended this company. Rene is a local guide that’s worked just about every tour industry job in Belize and knows everyone everywhere. I did the jaguar preserve waterfall hike with him and he was so knowledgeable showing us all the different trees in the jungle, what could be food, what could be used to repel bugs, pointing out the Howler monkeys howling, answering any and all questions we had and led us to a refreshing waterfall dip. The next day, I was so impressed I booked a full Belize tour with him that started at the zoo, the downtown Belize, a rum distillery and the beliken brewery — he even helped make sure we had enough time to loop back by the zoo on the way back to Hopkins so I could see the jaguars better because they weren’t quite out as much earlier in the day. He was kind and patient with all the pictures I wanted to take and really made it a memorable experience. He can tell you everything about each animal in the zoo and knows where to look for all them. He helped make some dreams come true for my time in Belize. He was a really nice man, very professional and I felt very safe with him as my guide. If you’re going to plan excursions whether solo or with a friend — this is the guide you want!!!"

"My SO and I went to Belize for a week to celebrate our 8th anniversary. Via our resort (Hamanasi), I requested private airport transfers, which is how we met Rene of I Love It Tours. I was positively giddy when Rene welcomed us with cold bottled water and beer for our drive to Hopkins. During the drive, he provided lots of interesting facts about Belize and seems to know everyone in the country. He even stopped to buy us a breadfruit, since we'd never tried it before. When we arrived at the resort, Rene spoke to the staff and arranged for the restaurant to cook it for us! Rene's friendly nature, eagerness to share his love of his country, and excellent driving skills (most drivers give me anxiety) compelled my husband and me to book more tours with him. We visited waterfalls, a butterfly house, sampled amazing authentic dishes, checked out some bars, etc. My husband and I are already planning our next trip to Belize and look forward to exploring more of the country with Rene. "I used I Love It Tours for transportation from the western part of Belize to Hamanasi Resort in Hopkins. The 2 1/2 hour drive was absolutely delightful. Rene was very friendly and shared so much information with me. He was able to answer all sorts of questions and his easy going and friendly nature made the time pass quickly.
